Misión

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Thai National) with a strong consultancy background to support the design and delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects, including data centres and telecommunications facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for engineers who are passionate about data centre design and want to work on complex, high-performance, and sustainable infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and implementation of HVAC systems, cooling solutions, and mechanical infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and best practices. The role also involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, client engagement, technical leadership, and support throughout the project lifecycle from concept design through commissioning.

What will be your responsibilities?

Mechanical Design & Engineering
  • Lead the mechanical design and engineering of HVAC, cooling systems, and mechanical infrastructure for data centres, ensuring high energy efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Perform thermal load calculations, airflow simulations, and energy modelling to optimize mechanical system performance.
  • Oversee the selection, specification, and integration of mechanical equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, and air handling systems.
Technical Leadership & Quality Assurance
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, guiding them through design processes, calculations, and project execution.
  • Review and approve technical drawings, schematics, and design documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to best practices.
Project Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, architects, project managers, and clients, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical solutions.
  • Support construction, testing, and commissioning activities, verifying system performance and troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Participate in client meetings, project presentations, and technical discussions, acting as a subject matter expert in mechanical engineering.
Innovation, Sustainability & Compliance
  • Drive innovation by researching and implementing cutting-edge cooling and energy-efficient technologies for sustainable data centre operations.
  • Stay updated with industry codes, standards, and regulations (ASHRAE, ISO, Uptime Institute, etc.) and ensure compliance across all mechanical designs.

This is the profile we are looking for

Qualifications & Experience
  • Thai citizen. 
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is a mandatory requirement.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably within data centres, HVAC systems, or other critical infrastructure environments.
  • Experience in project management and team leadership.
Technical Competencies
  • Strong expertise in cooling system design, CFD analysis, and thermal management.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD analysis tools.
  • In-depth understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to mechanical engineering.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
Other Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to travel for project site visits, inspections, and client meetings as required.
